Currently, I'm mainly on the Komatsu D51px dozer with the Leica UTS 3D system doing final grade. It takes some time to set it up (specially if your reference points got covered in vegetation — vid 2 :D) but it is very precise and allows grading under rooftops that would block GPS.
Last week was quite busy as i finished the base for lean concrete on the hall. It passed the compaction tests and the height grid was made. I think it turned out nice taking into account that the material was mainly unsorted stone only topped off with a thin, 1-3 cm layer of fine, 0-30 mm material to provide better binding and a smooth surface (3-5/10).
There was also use for the excavator and some labor to fill around the utilities and in corners (6-7/10).
As you can see on the results that came in yesterday (8-9/10) the desired height was -0.27 cm from the top of the designed floor but i was asked to rise it 1-2 cm so the average result of -0.26 is exactly what i was aiming for.
On pic 10 is the final product waiting for concrete on Monday ;)
