happy friday everyone 🤍 i would be lying if i said i had it all together during these uncertain times. i most definitely do not but here are a few tips that have helped me make the most out of my days 🧚🏽 ⁣ ⁣ 🍃make a things to do list the night before ⁣ 🍃wake up at the same time everyday..i wake up around 8 every morning and it really gives me time to get so much done in the mornings ⁣ 🍃journal for at least 10 mins..i usually write how i am feeling that day, what is worrying me and just random thoughts ⁣ 🍃get ready for the day! i usually go with workout clothes since it motivates me to move later on in the day and throw on some everyday makeup like i did here 💆🏽‍♀️⁣ 🍃at least 30 minutes of physical activity everyday! i say physical activity because this can literally mean 30 minutes of walking around your block. just move 🙃⁣ 🍃spend time with the people around you (swipe to see my best friend with his new little love bird, Tiko)

Após apenas uma semana de sal extra, as amostras de sangue das pessoas que foram submetidas à pesquisa, revelaram que as células imunes estavam tendo muita dificuldade de combater as bactérias em comparação com a dieta usando menos quantidade desse tempero. A pesquisa explica que muito sal pode fazer os rins trabalharem em excesso e levar ao acúmulo de glicocorticóides (um hormônio) no corpo. “If you want to feed the virus, eat sugar.” - Dr. Mark Hyman ⠀ 😷 As we are all concerned for our health and the health of our loved ones, you want to make sure during this time your immune system and theirs are strong. ⠀ 😞 It is important that each of us take care of ourselves. And I know being in quarantine for many weeks for some of you have become stressful and depressing. ⠀ 😌 You can’t control the virus and you can’t control what’s happening with the quarantine situation. What you can control is you. ⠀ 🦠 A virus needs a host that has created a hospitable environment for it. You don’t want to be that host. ⠀ 🚫 You want to be the host that creates a hostile environment for it by strengthening your immune system. ⠀ 🍰 Avoid sugar and processed foods. Eat fresh whole foods as much as possible. If your blood sugar spikes, you are compromising your immune system. ⠀ 💀 Make sure you are not malnourished. Just because you don’t look like you are dying from starvation does not mean you are not malnourished. Obesity malnutrition is a real thing. Make sure you are getting your vitamins and nutrition to support your immune system. ⠀ 🍗 Get a good protein source in your diet because most are naturally high in zinc. Zinc is important for all those functions of the immune system to work really well. ⠀ 🥦 Eat lots of vitamin C rich foods and green leafy vegetables. All contain phytonutrients which has antibacterial and antiviral properties that helps our bodies. ⠀ 🥬 Keep your microbiome healthy to avoid infections by consuming high fiber foods. ⠀ 🧘🏻‍♀️ Lastly avoid stress because it also weakens our immune system. Practice self-care daily. ⠀ ‼️ It’s not the virus so much the problem.
